Alexey Nuzhnyy is a top manager with more than 24 years of experience in international companies in the position of financial and administrative director. Alexey received degree in law in the Moscow State Academy of Law, as well as a master's degree in economics, finance and credit with honors in the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2016, he studied at the INSEAD business school in the TGM (transition to general management) program. He is an acting professor of financial disciplines at the Moscow State University, leads the international master's program in global finance and economics. Since 2014, Alexey Nuzhnyy has been holding the position of Regional Financial Director of LLC ESAB. Since February 2021 he has also been appointed as the Managing Director ESAB Russia/CIS, combining the roles of a full-fledged financial leader and business partner, taking an active part in communicating with suppliers, customers, controlling production processes. During his time at ESAB, Alexey introduced regional responsibility matrices and a solid organizational scheme, as well as provided partners with external financing (with the help of export credit agencies, financing by international banks, leasing solutions). Alexey actively sponsors IT and financial projects and conducts regular trainings in business finance (for example, finance for non-financial companies) for sales teams, products, ESAB support functions, as well as for distributors.
