Presentation opportunities

The Forum offers ample opportunities for the presentation of industry reviews, problem reports, technical and investment projects, master classes, as well as involving the audience in the discussion of challenges and changes taking place in the mining and geological industry of Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia.

Non-Commercial Presentations

Presentations of industry reviews practical cases of the implementation of innovative industry solutions and technologies in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Presentations should NOT include promotional content. The presentation of implemented solutions and projects, as a rule, should be organised with the participation of a representative of the customer.

Discussions

Discussions are organised in the panel or fire-side chat format. Discussion topics and questions, as a rule, are agreed in advance with the moderator.

Commercial Presentations

Presentations of a commercial or promotional nature are usually organized within the framework of open Business Tracks in parallel with the main sessions of the Forum.

The subjects being presented or discussed include an overview and analysis of industry trends and future outlook, changes in regulations related to mining and the general business and investment environment, government involvement in mineral resource management, new initiatives and plans for attracting investments, strategies for sustainable development and implementation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) by large companies, actioning decarbonization and achieving carbon neutrality, enhancing transparency and reporting in subsoil use, funding and investments in the industry, and the development of technologies to improve efficiency in exploration, production, and processing of ore and non-metallic materials.

Master-classes

Master classes are held by specialists of international and national companies in order to present experience in solving various problems related to subsoil use. The topics and content of the master classes are determined by the companies offering the master class. As a rule, the options for conducting master classes at the forum site are offered as part of a sponsorship package. Business Tracks

Business tracks are held in a specialized area open to both forum participants and exhibition visitors. At the business track site, companies and forum participants can present their technologies, cases and products. By organising a business presentation, companies and individuals can showcase their innovations and increase their brand awareness. This is a great opportunity to attract the attention of a wide range of participants and develop valuable business connections.

Mining Goes Digital Conference

The 2nd conference on digital transformation Mining Goes Digital Kazakhstan, organised on the forum platform, provide a platform for presentation and discussion of cases of digital transformation of mining and geological exploration and subsoil use management in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.

Presentation at MineDigital competition

The MineDigital Kazakhstan competition is held for companies implementing solutions for digitalisation and automation of production processes of the mining and metallurgical industry from the creation of digital cores to the construction of digital mine twins.

Presentation at MineInvest competition

The MineInvest competition is an opportunity for these subsoil users to showcase their projects and create a positive image for investing in the mining industry. All subsoil users developing projects in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries are welcome to participate.

Speaker registration process

Acceptance of applications

To propose a presentation at the forum speaker (or assistant) is expected to complete the speaker application before 27 February 2023.

Applications are considered by the program committee of the forum. The decision is made within 5 working days after receipt of the application. When considering applications, numerous factors are taken into account, including relevance, informativeness, etc

In-person participation

Speakers presenting on behalf of commercial organisations and wishing to attend the Forum in person are expected to register and pay the admission fee.

Speakers representing exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, as well as speakers who have received a guest pass from the Forum secretariat, are exempt from paying the fee.

Online participation

Applications from speakers interested in presenting remotely are considered on a case-by-case basis. For further information please email kz@minexforum.com

Requirements for presentation slides

The forum is organised in Russian and English. Presenters may use either one or both languages (dividing slides into two parts) when preparing presentation materials. Presentation slides are accepted in PowerPoint (PPTX or PPT) for 16:9 wide-screen format.

In cases where presenters are unable to attend the event in person, they may pre-record their presentation on YouTube or Vimeo and send the video file link to slides@minexforum.com

Payment

Payments in foreign currency are accepted by Advantix Ltd (UK) via bank transfer or credit card. Participants who did not register in advance can register and pay on the day by credit card, by completing the registration form on the conference website (payments will be processed through Stripe and collected by Advantix Ltd.).

Cancellations and replacements

In case of cancellation up to 15 days prior to the event, paid registration fee will be refunded minus 10% to cover administrative costs. In case of cancellation of participation less than 15 days before the start of the event, the registration fee is not refundable. Participants can be replaced at any time at no additional cost. All cancellations must be submitted to kz@minexforum.com.
